It’s been a Volunteer Park Conservatory kind of week. Still waiting for the Corpse Lily (“Dougsley”) to bloom and emit its stench. In the meantime, here’s a view of the sunset through the Bromeliad house.

Thought you’d like to see a picture of the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory, in the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx. I visited at this time of year a few years ago. What a great spring scene!

Looking through the archives, I pulled up this shot of the pool right inside the main entrance of the Conservatory at the Bronx Botanical Garden, taken a year ago. I love the white orchids. New York sure does things up big.
