I do love daisies, especially these simple ones that grow in gravelly roadside strips. What a difficult environment for such a lovely, perfect flower. I’d grow them in my garden if they sold seeds for them, although they probably LIKE the harsh roadside environment. I tell my plants to “Bloom where you’re planted,” but sometimes they don’t listen.

These shasta daisies are a yellow color that I haven’t seen before. I saw then on a walk in the neighborhood the other day. Nothing like seeing what grows in your neighbors’ yards for ideas about what to plant. I’ll have to try these, I think.
