This scene at the edge of Puget Sound in Seattle is from a couple of years ago at this time of year. I felt like posting something with water. I think this qualifies, and the sailboat is a bonus.

I’m wishing camping season was here already. I love getting to spend all day and night in the fresh air, even if the weather is not so perfect. I don’t want to tent camp in the rain because cooking is just impossible, but gray is OK. Here’s a photo of Bowman Bay, at Wahington’s Deception Pass State Park, on a gray and slightly foggy July day last summer.

This photo gives me such a feeling of peace. I love the quiet at the water’s edge. Bowman Bay is part of Deception Pass State Park, in western Washington. That is Puget Sound you are looking at. May all your days end this peacefully.

Time for a scenic photo. This is at little Lake Burien, south of Seattle WA, a few weeks ago. Don’t you just love, love, love those pink skies? I also thought it was nice of the person to wear that pretty red top for me to photograph.

Can you see the tiny sailboat? And the reflection of the cloud on the water? This big cloud over the inlet at Fort Worden in Port Townsend really “floated my boat,” you might say. Love those puffy huge things that look like you could bounce on them.

I just can’t get over the weather we’re having lately. Since May it has been unusually sunny and warm. I am enjoying it so very much, but you can see the season is changing.
