Puppy at street fair

This German Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix puppy was a show stopper at the U-District Street Fair in Seattle today. Winter is just nine weeks old and will be about 110 lbs. when fully grown. This photo does not really show how utterly fluffy he is, but it does show the joy he brought to crowds and crowds of people in the few minutes I watched.

Pink trees in Seattle

We were downtown Seattle for my birthday and I was so happy to see this street scene filled with puffy pink trees!

Seattle construction

Seattle is booming, and this view from the south shows some of the changes.

San Miguel street scenes

The tiny streets of San Miguel de Allende are much better for pedestrians than auto traffic. All the buildings in the center of town must be painted in earth tones.

Colorful Florida scene

Hard to know what to call this image, but I love it! Taken from the car while my friend was driving, stopped at one of the LONG traffic lights, this symphony in primary colors really makes me happy.

Guest photo: India

My favorite cousin just got back from her first trip to India, and she has shared her favorite photo with us, taken on the steps of the Ganges river. This is what she had to say about it: “The richness of multi-sensory experience was so palpable, I could only be in the present moment, always. This is in Hariwar, at Ma Ganga, washing, dunking, blessing, offering.”

I love this image and I hope you enjoy it also. I think it is remarkable and am calling it my Best Post of the Week.

It’s a good offering for Scenic Sunday, Outdoor WednesdaySOOC Sunday (straight out of the camera), Mellow Yellow Monday and Pink Saturday. Please follow this blog on the new widget to the right if you enjoy the photos. And thanks for visiting!
