At the party this weekend to celebrate the engagement of a man whose family is originally from Northern India, these lovely ladies agreed to stop for a photo. Their clothing was so very colorful and sparkling.

My peonies are beginning to bloom. Here are the first two I picked from my yard. This year there are dozens of those wonderful spherical buds out there, all plump with possibilities. I love peonies!
