Flower for Today: Lily
This is a lily, and also a little snapdragon which overwintered, which they sometimes do. Lilies are super easy to grow and very satisfying, scenting the entire garden with their strong perfume. If only photos recorded perfume, too!

This is really beautiful – perfect and gentle. Thank you for sharing it!
That’s a beautiful shot, Sara.
Gorgeous close-up image with the delicate pink hues and speckles.
This is a beautiful photo. Because it is close up one can see all the ‘bits and pieces’ we can’t normally see. Great shot!
Really a beautiful shot, Sara! I love this flower and I have with orange color.
Lily’s are everywhere here in my place but I haven’t seen like this. Maybe in flower shops. Beautiful.http://www.joyaxtraverse.com/?p=130
A lovely Oriental LIly! They do grow well under normal circumstances except where there is no water at all, like this year in my garden.
Congrats on being the guest friend, isn’t it fun? I enjoyed it so last week. Great photo here. I tried to click on your name on Today’s Flowers several times and it is just now letting me in………..
SARA!

Very beautiful and I do see the Snapdragon. How wonderful. MB
Beautiful lily and I do love its scent! That stargazer (which we we commonly call it here in our part of the planet), is very expensive here. I didn’t think it’s easy to grow.
Wonderful close up of really lovely lily! The colour is just great! I also like to see a snapdragon there which is also a flower that I like very much.
Congrats on being the guest friend!
Sara: Congrats on your wonder shot of the Tiger Lily. My neighbor grows them so I’m able to get photos of them.
Hey Sara… lovely!
Did you get a new camera? Photo is looking sharper than usual.
