Shadowed grapevine leaves
This from a fall afternoon in the old house in Des Moines WA. You can actually ripen grapes in chilly Seattle, but you must have the vine planted in a southern exposure in as warm a spot as you can find. It worked! I hated to leave this grapevine we planted. It had super sweet, tiny loose bunches of tender yellow-green grapes. And the leaves were so beautiful in the late afternoon.

beautiful capture! the light is amazing!
Beautiful!
This is so pretty. Love the delicate shadows and sweet shades of yellow. I’m now craving juicy sweet grapes! I can understand why you were so sad to leave the grapevine behind.
Hey sorry to hear that you had trouble with Mr Linky last week. Sorry for not picking up on it. My brain vacates my head for long periods of time, so I don’t notice things as much as I’d like to. Bad Mr Linky! Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend 🙂
Beautiful shot Sara, grapes in the backyard, how wonderful!!
What a nice catch of the sunlight to your grapevine leaves. It seems you’re enjoying having the fresh grapes, huh? Envious!
Have a super Sunday!
Bellissima foto romantica !!
What a beautiful image Sara, it’s so wonderful to catch the sun dispaying her magic.
And not to worry girl, the bike and the ol’ chair were harvested from the trash…and the long hair stays…I would never cut, as I have always had a hankerin’ to be an old woman with braids, quietly tending her gardens…a bit odd in todays society for women my age…I like to call it artsy…ha!
