Leaves on the Red Bark Maple
Here’s a shot from November of leaves on the amazing red-bark maple below. I thought you’d like to see that the stems and twigs are really red, no fooling.

What wonderful photos!!I have never heard of a red barked maple, so that was a surprise! I love the way the rain drips off the leaves! And the ferry’s wake! I had not thought how alive it looked – always just admired the patterns of the water. And the red bark of the Japanese maple! You made that shot work, where I am still fumbling about how to get one like it.
Great capture of the drops of water on those leaves. I like the red branches. The colors are so pretty.
They are indeed red too. I can have fall colors the entire year and I wont get enough of it still. Enjoy the rest of the week.
Really love this shot, the drops and leaf colour is fantastic.
Also enjoyed all other posts too, very talented.
Thanks for your visit and kind comments.
Exquisite shot! The foreground and background are both pleasantly colorful and even the hanging droplets seem to be refracting the warm autumn hues. Thanks for finding the photo and posting it!
One of the prettiest images I have seen of fall leaves, the color of them is incredible. The rain makes it even more beautiful. Great photo!
i love the shot! good capture of the dew drops.
