Broadway rose with shadow
We’re planting a big rose garden out in front. What a lot of work! But it will be worth it, absolutely. This is one of the 18 roses waiting in pots, named Broadway. In a rare burst of sunshine, it created this shadow, almost like another petal form. Visit Shadow Shot Sunday for more fascinating shadows.

Such a beautiful color for such an elegant flower. Happy Pink Saturday!
A big rose garden does indeed sound like a lot of hard work but it will be well worth it! Looking forward to seeing the progress! This rose is a gorgeous specimen! I know very little about roses but this one looks rather special 🙂
Glad to hear that you enjoyed the ‘junk shadows’ link!
What a beautiful specimen and who doesn’t love the beauty and fragrance of the rose…all will share in you garden’s beauty!

Exquisite shadow shot! Exquisite rose, beautiful colors! Happy SSS!
Beautifully shaped rose – does it smell as wonderful as it looks? (Roses in my garden have to work hard for their keep . . . )
Yes, it smells heavenly. I’m with you that roses must be fragrant. We put up with the thorns and work, we deserve the swooning. Thanks all for your kind comments.
What a beautiful rose… pink and yellow… perhaps a little peach thrown in.. it could star on Broadway!!!
