Shadows on the deck
I was lucky enough to be invited to tea at the home of a talented tea-maker, complete with little triangle sandwiches with the crust cut off. The weather was as superb as it gets, and here is a little slice of that heaven, with shadows. For more creative shadows seen in the most interesting places, visit Shadow Shot Sunday.

What a delightful shadow shot, Sara! And so very inviting! Perfect!
What a beautiful setting. I wish I was sitting there with you enjoying dainty little sandwiches with the crusts cut off, amongst those glorious shadows! I wonder if it would be rude of me to request coffee instead of tea. Being a talented tea maker, your friend may be offended by my request. In that case I’ll try the tea! 😉
oh I could just curl up and read a good book
I’ve been trolling backwards through your posts and you certainly have published some lovely pictures! And how delightful to sit in the shade and partake of tea and dainty sandwiches. You’ve given me an idea, I think I’m going to host a back yard tea party!
I wish summer would last forever…we have to work so hard for it here in Iowa.
Looks like the perfect spot to enjoy a delicious tea!
Teatime would be just perfect sitting here.
