Campfire
Next week we are going camping again, and my favorite part is the campfires. Not for cooking, because that makes such a mess on the pots and pans, and washing dishes is so hard when camping, but just to gaze at and enjoy. The sight, the smell, and the soft sound of the flames in the quiet woods, is one of my top fave experiences. A photo is a small slice of that, but it reminds us.

Lovely shot… I’ve never camp before 😀
My WW entry: in HERE. I hope you have time to visit. Thanks
I love the orange pink flame in this shot, by the way, sorry for my ignorant about photography but I would want to learn if this is a macro shot? It’s so beautiful.
Macros are extreme close ups, using a special lens or setting, and everything except the super-close subject is out of focus. This is medium close, just tightly framed, so not a macro. Hope that is helpful.
Beautiful photo! I love campfires 🙂
Oooooo, nice….. 🙂
Campfire is intense, tugging at your senses, at your sharing with friends and loved ones, at your history. For us, campfire is always special. I linked my name to a particular recent entry in my photos only blog, where campfire meant all of these things plus pizza. Take a look.
(The lack of contrast between your background and your font color make the blog difficult to read right now.)
I think the page had not fully loaded. Hope the problem is solved now. Thanks for your comment, I’ll definitely take a look.
I love the campfire part of camping, too. Hopefully the rain will have helped lift the burn ban in many areas.
Campfires are my favourite part of camping to. Nothing beats the aroma of a campfire. 😉
On our last camping trip I took over 100 pictures of the campfire! I too love it’s beauty! Great tree shadows, too!
