Red begonias
Begonias bloom and bloom, with no removal of spent flowers (deadheading) needed, and they are happy to bloom in the shade for you. I try to overwinter them in my garden by adding a lot of mulch, which sometimes actually works, or take them indoors if I can. The colors of the flowers and the leaves are so varied. This one is just red, but what a red!

You’re fortunate to live in a place where you can sometimes over-winter begonias. They are so lovely.
We could never overwinter them outside here. The thing I like most about the Tuberous Begonias are the amount of beautiful color shades they add to the shady garden.
Mmmmm, mmmm, mmmmm!!! Ever so pretty.
My RT is posted, I do hope you can find some time to visit———

Such nice bright red begonias. Love the contrasting bronze-y leaves. Great shot.
Gorgeous pictures. Very deep rich colors.
Beautiful! Sometimes Begonias do okay in my yard and other times they don’t. Perhaps it’s time to try again ;–)
Hugs and blessings,
Lovely, lovely, lovely!
Lovely red!
Wow that is a vivid red. Happy WW
How beautiful Sara!
So vibrant and lovely!
Thanks, everyone, for admiring the pretty red color of these brilliant begonias. It’s so much fun when other people like what I like, too! I may be a bit late, but I will return visit everyone eventually.
I have a begonia that I have kept inside for several winters. It is very happy. (rex begonia) I got another begonia this summer, which I love, so I will bring it inside to overwinter. What a gorgeous red your begonia is!
