Ruby coleus
These coleus plants used to be quite popular as houseplants in the ’50s. Of course today there are many more types and varieties, but they still are the same flashy foliage, pretty if minor flowers. In Seattle they are grown outdoors as annuals, but you can root cuttings easily and have houseplants during the winter. I am particularly proud of these because I grew them from seed, and it was way easy.

These plants are so beautiful! I had once the same plant, but as I am very often away, I cannot have plants anymore, except the artificial ones.Thank you for sharing yours!
Our Coleus did well this year. There seems to be more and more varieties every year. This year Planting Fields Arboretum had a Coleus collection planted, it was maybe 20 different varieties and it looked great.
You can be proud of your flowers. They are awesome. Thanks for sharing.
So very pretty…and the colors so very vivid!!!

Those on the left are very pretty!
Those are beautiful, great photo! I grew some one year, outside as annuals. I think they were a dark burgundy color. Very pretty!
Coleus is such an amazing plant. I love all the variations in the leaf colorings. Nice choice.
Those look so lush and healthy. The one thing I can grow indoors well is some Spider Plant. I have so many babies, I think I will start giving them away as Xmas gifts.
Wishing you a picture perfect day!
Patty
