Living room shadows
A sunny patch in the weather made some lovely shadows the other day. Visit Shadow Shot Sunday for more interesting and entertaining shadows.
It’s also straight out of the camera, or SOOC.
And even a week later this photo still makes me pause, so I’ve tagged it Best Post of the Week.

The character of this room is light, which of course allows lovely shadows. The chair has a 3-D style shadow, we no what it is but sense more depth. Very nice look of a living room that looks light and inviting – a place to live! Happy new Year!
Lovely shadows in your sun room!
Looks like a wonderful place to linger.
What a grogeous living room! I could sit there forever looking out into that beautiful green garden! ๐ Lovely delicate shadows too!
What a lovely spot and a gorgeus view to go with it. Start making the coffee and I’ll bring the cookies ๐ I hope you have the most wonderful 2010 Sara. See you next year!
Lots going on here – I like how the shadows take center stage. Love the warmth of the chairs. And the window to the outside says “come visit me, too.”
Hi!
Beautiful Sun Room! We haven’t had sun for over a week. I could sit all day in your room. Have a great day!

Where’s the snow!!!
I had chairs just like those, what a pretty setting, very peaceful!
What lovely shadows in this room with a beautiful outdoor view! Looks like that new camera is a good one indeed! This weekend I’m sharing a mosaic of shadowy photos that I took in Hemet, CA on Christmas Eve. Happy Shadow Shot Sunday!
Hugs and blessings,

I love your chairs. It’s form catches my taste ยง;-)
Have a peaceful NY to all…
Nice clear shadows. Looks like you get a good view of your garden from that room? Happy new year!
Those large windows let in views of the garden and lots of light. The light creates some cool shadows. Very nice room!
Thank you all for visiting and for leaving such interesting, thoughtful and appreciative comments. It makes me feel so good that an idea from someone in Australia (Tracy at Hey Harriet) could make someone like me around the world away think differently and see even her own livingroom differently.
The shadows create a beautiful, cosy depth to this scene! Delightful!
The potted greenery in the foreground is a nice balance to all the green expanse outside.
Such a wonderfully contrasted photo!
