Magnolia extravaganza
Our Japanese magnolia tree out back has been so beautiful this year. I took these photos in the last week. Which do you like the best? The top one (#1)? The bottom (#5)?
Visit Blooming Friday for more things flowering now (and sadly the last week for this great meme), Pink Saturday and Macro Flowers Saturday, too. Click on Sara’s Fave Photos above to return to the full blog with my latest post on top.

Wow! Beautiful, dreamy shots! I love them all…probably #2 and #4 are my faves. (Found your blog through Blotanical.)
I love them all but if I had to choose I would say the last one. It’s a good week for magnolias, mine are white.
Have a great Easter weekend.
Oops, I put in the wrong link. My macro flowers post is at
Through Squirrel Eyes
Pink magnolias! It just doesn’t get much more romantic than that, does it?
These are gorgeous magnolias. What an amazing pink color and big blooms against the blue sky.
I love all your photos but there is nothing so magic as a close-up.
Happy Easter to you and your family!
Such beauty…the blooms and the photography! Wishing you a happy Pink Saturday and blessed Easter.

These are beautiful! Great photos!
Wow, that is just gorgeous. I love the flowers and i love the way you have taken the pictures, the angles and close ups, love, love, love it 🙂
Number #2 and #5 are my favourites out of a set of great photos. Its too early yet for our Magnolias – the later the better as far as I am concerned – that way there is less of a chance of a frost destroying their beautiful tulip shaped blooms.
So beautiful, this looks like my fuschia magnolia! so maybe it’s called Japanese Magnolia? It’s gorgeous, mine is just a baby. Can’t wait until it’s a little sturdier. Happy MacroSat
Gorgeous pink magnolias! I think the last photo is the most wonderful! I love the complexity of the composition…..closeup in front, with more flowers showing in the background.
They’re all lovley! But I think the last one is my favourite.
Good morning Sara: LIZA AND JOHN’S GARDEN enjoyed our visit to your blog.
