Pink dogwood
Our pink dogwood tree is in full bloom. What a lovely sight. I am grateful to the people who planted this tree many years ago. Plant trees whenever you can! If you won’t be there to see it in its full glory, someone else will. And you never know, do you? Time has a way of slipping away so fast.

That’s beautiful! I’ve never seen pink dogwood, only white. The blossoms remind of the pink magnolias that bloom around here in the springtime. Enjoy the weekend.
What a gorgeous site and photo. Unfortunately I saw them only on photo but never seen such beautiful, strong pink blossoms.
Lovely composition with the dark green shadows contrasting the pink blossoms.
Have a great weekend Sara!
Gorgeous!
We don’t have this gorgeous flower (yours are fantastic here)..but I’ve always enjoyed them..My niece found some dishes (very old) with these flowers on them only they were white ..or do they come in pale green? Many were broken too in shipping sadly. There is a story behind this flower I think. Anyway- hope you have a wonderful day-
Well, you’ve done it again!
Great shot of one of my favorites. I always encourage people to plant trees especially when moving to a new house. It is surprising how fast they can grow and provide a nice look in the yard.
gorgeous, i didn’t know they were so uncommon….my tree in the backyard is both white & pink but i didn’t take a photo of it.
Actually, pink AND white, the kind with the pink tips that you used to see on pottery from I guess the 30s or 40s, is my top fave. You are lucky!
I’ve never seen pink dogwood! What a surprise it was! I love it!!
