Chenille plant
This chenille plant, or Acalypha hispida, was growing in Seattle’s Volunteer Park Conservatory recently. Isn’t it a fine and lovely thing, and don’t you just want to touch it?

Red Door to Wonder
That is spectacular, makes you want to reach out and feel it. I love the Chenille Plant, though I have never successfully kept one alive for long. Stopped by from WOW, hope you have a great day.
Being as tactile as I am, I sure do want to touch that plant! Beautiful picture!
Happy RT!
A very tactile looking plant, nice shot too.
Very fuzzy and nice color.
What growing zone are these in?
These are growing in the protected environment of a conservatory in Seattle. I read that they are annuals, but you can be sure they can’t take cold weather. Must be pretty tropical in origin. Thanks for visiting!
Lovely photo.
Looks like it’s alive, as in more alive than a plant. Does it purr when you pet it?
