Lake Burien
This adorable little lake looked almost European in the late-day light the other evening. Lake Burien is just a few acres, south of Seattle, much beloved by the homeowners around it and invited visitors like myself.
Visit Watery Wednesday for more water photos of all kinds, and Outdoor Wednesday is fun also. Scenic Sunday and SOOC or Straight Out of the Camera are both very worth a visit, too.
You might try the “scenic” tag while you are here, or perhaps “water”? You can always return to the full blog by clicking on Sara’s Fave Photos above.

This place is for sure lovely. Great shot!
Waterdrops
Oh I adore that warm rays of the sun on the houses. I hope you get invited more often, because this looks like a lovely piece of paradise.
Happy mid-week. Enjoy.
Love that evening glow!
The warm glow is so beautiful! Looks like a wonderful place to visit.
Ooh, that really is a lovely lake! Seattle is really a beautiful city, we passed through there just three days ago heading East toward home.

lovely place!
What a lovely time of day to capture this image! Very nice!
Beautiful!! Can’t imagine looking out seeing such a calm place!
What a lovely place….great photo!
The houses are really glowing.
Beautiful.
It does remind me of a scene out of the Italian Lake District. All that’s missing are some cypress trees! Very nice lighting you captured this in. It must be fun for the residents to have their own little private lake! Happy SS.
