Cedar tree
This huge old cedar tree is what I first loved about this house. It’s actually hard to take a good photo of a tree, especially such a big one. This photo is hot out of the camera, as the weather cleared up nicely this afternoon and I just shot it.
Enjoy more shadows at Shadow Shot Sunday, the Hey Harriet blog. Scenic Sunday has more endlessly varied scenery.

The weather did clear up nicely, didn’t it? I was about ready to give up on having any sun today and then it was gorgeous! I love your shadow shot! What a beautiful tree and such an ideal place to sit and enjoy the wonderful weather! Hope tomorrow is as nice! Have a lovely evening and a wonderful Sunday!

No wonder you love that tree. How fantastic is it. I would love to be sitting in those chairs right now. Enjoy!
What a magnificent tree, I love the shadows.
Gorgeous photo of a gorgeous setting, it looks almost magical to me and I love the soft shadows. just beautiful.
Gosh! That tree is in your garden? I can sure see why it was the first thing you loved about your house! That is magnificent Sara! I’m so jealous of your garden! I hope you’re having a lovely weekend so far 🙂
O what a beautiful garden for dreaming! And that tree is like Nature’s guardian angel watching over all who wander there!
Wow what a big, beautiful tree. Looks like a great spot to relax under its branches. I especially like the shadows on the trunk of the tree. I bet is truly hard to capture the entire tree, it seems to be quite large. Thanks for sharing!!
Gorgeous and lush … what a relaxing picture. I love the colours!
peaceful scene and a romantic view
