Winter in Seattle, so far north, can be challenging when the light is so reduced. But the good part of the low-angled sun is that when it actually is sunny, the light streams in the south windows and makes marvelous shadows. This is my kitchen counter the other day. I love this image and I’m calling it my Best Post of the Week. Thanks for stopping by!

I love the lighting at this time of the year and this photo is delightful.

Nice attractive lighting…
lovely still life Sara
Love the bright vivid colours of this image. In particular the tomato’s really pop with the stunning shine to their skin.

YOU are not fooling…these are wonderful shadows. Does Pike Place Market ever run out of fresh veggies and fruit? Being that I am never out there in the winter, I was not aware that the lack of light affected the foods. Love the photo. genie
A beautiful composition and I love the light!
