Surfers at Sunset Cove
The best part of our little getaway to Seaside, Oregon was watching the surfers right from our cottage on Sunset Cove. It was amazing. I realized that surfing is much, much harder than I thought, for one thing. Here’s a little video of this oh-so-scenic cove.

Nice! I love Seaside..lately we’ve spent more time on the central and south OR coast…gotta get up North one of these summers.
I was lucky enough to have had an opportunity to surf as my grandparents lived in Venice California. I never mastered it though. It is very hard but your video evoked so many memories. I could FEEL the waves washing over me as it did the one paddling back out.

Surfing doesn’t look at all easy to me but it is enjoyable as a spectator sport.
