Driftwood on the beach
Someone built this structure out of driftwood at Richmond Beach in Washington. Almost looks like a dinosaur skeleton, doesn’t it?

What a wonderfully peaceful sight
I never seem to have much luck finding driftwood. I always try to bring something back from the beach to put in our yard as a way to keep me connected to one of my favorite places on earth. This time it was a small cooler full of shells.
Nice shot.
I hope you’ll come link up at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2015/10/poor-little-birdie.html
Love this shot. The shades of grey/blue are beautiful.
I like it! Fun photo!
A fort, or perhaps a make-believe pirate ship? Great shot!
Cool picture. We visited another beach in Washington that was just covered with these driftwood forts. They were everywhere.
I’ve never seen driftwood look so beautiful. Nice shot! Found you over at #PhotoFriday
Very interesting structure indeed, I wonder what was the purpose of it.
Fantastic captures… I like the scene on the coast so much.
That is interesting!
I love the texture and color of driftwood. Lovely picture.
How lovely! I used to go to a beach with tons of driftwood that we could use to build fun forts with. Thank you for the sweet memories.

Driftwood – Treibholz in German – gives an empty beach very often an interesting structure – and something you like to take photos of… 😉
That is the one thing I miss about from Northwest beaches; however, not the cold water.
What a lovely sight! Interesting that someone would spend the time creating that. I’m a big fan of driftwood – have some interesting pieces that the houses’s previous owners collected and left in the backyard. Beautiful stuff.
Thank you for joining us for Photo Friday again this week!
I always look at driftwood and think what amazing long journeys much of it has been on. It holds a mystery in that respect
