Orange brugmansia
The weather has gotten too cold for this brugmansia (Angel’s Trumpet) plant to stay on the patio, so into the living room it has come until the warm weather returns. Every night the scent perfumes the entire house.

Another beautiful photo! I was given some angel trumpet and some devil trumpet seeds this summer…I passed them along to my husband’s grandmother who has about the greenest thumb of anyone I’ve ever known. I hope that I will shortly have some plants growing on the writing porch!
Thank you for sharing with us at Photo Friday!
Whoa!! That is quite a flower..I don’t think I’ve seen that one before, so special thanks for the posting.
What a beautiful image! I am a landscape gardener, and would love to have this plant in my garden; however, it is more tropical than my region, so the maintenance is more than I want to devote. Obviously, your attention to yours helps it thrive – just beautiful! It caught my eye at Anything Goes this week, thanks for sharing.

You have treated us to some gorgeous flowers Sara, thank you so much!
Such a bold, defined shape. A mighty flower.
WOW..I have never seen anything like that. Love the shape.
Stunning flower!
Very nice flowers and so many with their own form. I like it.
It certainly is an eye-catcher, Sara!
