How proud she stands.
Lady Liberty! Years ago I was able to go there. Even though I was pretty young, I remember how amazing it was. Great picture.
A well known landmark, i belive that immigrants from Sweden (and other countries) in the 1800s first came to libert island to sign in so to speak, i can be wrong about that…great shot!
Beautiful. Had one day in NYC. Did not get to the Statue of Liberty. So disappointed as our son lived there then and I doubt we will ever go there again since he is on the other side of the USA now.
Of all the luck, when I was visiting NYC, the Statue of Liberty was being worked on. Great shot!

Perfect image for the Holiday.
Worth a Thousand Words
That’s kind of the ultimate Fourth photo, isn’t it.
A grand view of the famous lady.
Beautiful Lady of Liberty! Thanks for sharing this photo. This is a great shot. Did you take this?
I hope you had a really nice day.
I really hope that I one day will see this with my own eyes….
Lovely photo
In reply to Sarah above, yes, I did take this photo! I only post my own photos, or very occasionally others’ with permission and attribution, always. Thanks for asking!
Pretty cool capture!
I was there last year for first time and it was very special to ride around her Miss Statue of Liberty on the overloaded ferry.
She is a wonderful landmark, my family ancestors seen her also while they were being processed at Ellis Island
