Hailstorm
We were in Issaquah, WA, finishing up dinner after a day selling jewelry at Salmon Days, and the sky just opened. I have never seen a such hailstorm (with lightning! thunder!). The roar of the hail and rain, an inch of hail on the ground, and rivers of water and ice because the leaves and hail clogged all the drains. Expect the unexpected, I guess.

Wow!
The last time I encountered a hailstorm like this was when a tornado passed through (Chattanooga, TN), leaving hail the size of a mini-golf ball.
Unbelievable! What a huge storm.
It’s that time of year – cold and warm fronts butting up against each other make for thunderstorms and cooler temps bring the hail! Sounds like you came away with no damage – good deal. Thanks for the great shot!
Wow! Or should I say “What the hail?!”
Isn’t hail fascinating? I certainly find it so.

Wow! It’s a good thing you all were finished with your show before the hail came down!
