Poinsettias, outdoors
One of the great pleasures of a foreign trip is seeing what grows well there. I was so pleased to see this outdoor display of poinsettia plants in San Miguel de Allende, in Mexico, last month.

That is a pretty display Sara! Wishing you a Happy Easter!
Beautiful!
Happy Easter!
Hi, poinsettias are such pretty plants and I always used to have one in the house until the rabbit ate a bit of a leaf and I learned just how poisonous they are (the rabbit died). That is a nice display though.
xx
I had no idea they were toxic. Sorry you lost your rabbit! Another downside of them is that some people (my hubby) are allergic to them. I can’t have them in the house either.
OH so pretty! They really are vibrant #MySundayPhoto
Very colourful, reminds me of Christmas
They are truly beautiful. I had a poinsettia in my home for three years but it only flowered once.

We always have a poinsettia at Christmas. I know there is tale about how two Mexican children had nothing to offer to Jesus at a Christmas festival and so picked some weeds from outside. Once inside they turned into a beautiful poinsettia.
