We were downtown Seattle for my birthday and I was so happy to see this street scene filled with puffy pink trees!

OH, what lovely blossoms. And a birthday in Seattle! Pike Place Market, the waterfront, the Space Needle! I spent most of my life on the BC coast, just across the border in Canada, so I have visited Seattle often in adulthood. But my favourite Seattle memories are of the World’s Fair in 1962 when I was a young teenager.
