Bucket of roses
The weather in Seattle is supposed to get seriously rainy, after some very fine fall weather. The only thing to do is go out and cut all the open roses for bouquets, because they’ll only get destroyed. Bonus image below of the bouquets!
And here are the bouquets they made, on my kitchen counter.

I like your idea of cutting the roses before the rain. Enjoy your bouquets
Oh I love the idea of buckets of roses – a fantasy since living in Florida, it’s hard to grow roses.
I can smell that heady rose perfume from here in Australia! Beautiful.
Gorgeous floral shots and lovely to have all around the house ~ thanks.
Wishing you a wonderful week ~ ^_^
I love your bounty of roses. Yep, might as well cut them if the rain is going to mess them up.
Your roses are wonderful, I love colors and details!
Have a nice day….
Greetings, Karin
Fabulous photos, your roses are stunning. Thank you for being such a good friend to Today’s Flowers, always very much appreciated.
Adorable – such a rose charm!
Beautiful rich colours in these roses. So lovely.
So sorry for the rain but if I remember Seattle correctly (and gosh it was so many, many years ago I lived there briefly) the rain does come and stays and stays. The roses are gorgeous. Your home is going to be like a showcase.
Great idea. Wish I had thought of it before mine all dried up. In Texas rose gardens have gone to sleep until next year. Loved sewing your pretty roses.
How beautiful these are, Sara! I like roses that are fragrant as well as beautiful and try to pick those for growing in our garden.
Thank you for joining the Floral Friday Fotos meme.
