Storm clouds
The forecast earlier today was for gusty wind and rain this evening. Just before the wind picked up, I went outside and took this of the storm clouds approaching. It was almost dark outside but I liked the look of the threatening sky.

Great shot.
Sydney – City and Suburbs
I like to watch the approaching storms.
The yard that surrounds you look very delightful and makes for a wonderful view. And into each life a little rain must fall… to keep it looking that way.
What a lovely shot. You sure live in a lovely place! Love all the greens!
I like the little dots of pink that stand out while everything else seems somewhat bathed in leaden atmosphere
Wonderful shot, very pretty scene! I love all the green trees and the moody sky. Happy Friday
For the garden to grow one needs a little rain
Awesome skywatch photo!

Ah, yes, even our grumpy, gray skies can make for great shots and you’ve caught a terrific one! Love all the trees and green!
Enjoy your weekend, Sara!

Hi Sara,
Thank you for your comments on SkyWatch.
Lovely site and beautiful photos you have here. Looks like the PNW will be having rain most of the week. It rained hard in OR this morning, and now the sun is out… what I love about this part of the country. 😉
Sara a moody image..very nicely captured and sky looks as though one could reach up and grab a handfull of puffy cloud!
WA skies, always changing! Nice photo!!
Moody, dismal gray sky- very nice capture!
Those green trees stood out to me, I think because we just had our autumn burst of color and now the trees are growing bare. (if you scroll down to the post or two before the current post, you’ll see those photos.)
Still a beautiful shot.
The storm clouds are quite amazing!
