Sunny in Seattle today
Blessed sunshine! This is a rare sunny view of Seattle as you drive north on the Viaduct. Such a wonderful confabulation of building styles and eras. The tall one in the middle is called by some the Jukebox building, and the one below it the Deoderant building. Not very respectful, but descriptive.
Perhaps you’d like to visit Window Views for more interesting doors and window photos. This shot is also SOOC, or straight out of the camera. (But I sure deleted a lot from that group!)

Looks like a picture postcard or an ad, the colours are all so uniform. Beautiful skyline.
Gee, maybe I should delete mine. LOL
It’s fabulous, looks like computer imaging! Happy WW!
Nice cityscape. For being Seattle, I’d say you really lucked out and got the light just right. As the old saying goes, F16 and be there.
Very descriptive indeed; there are some resemblances.
Happy Holidays and have a great Wordless Wednesday!

I need to go to Seattle sometime.. never been! 🙂
Very nice, wonderful shot. I love to see the cities. Happy WW
Beautiful shot. The light and buildings are lovely. I also enjoyed you flower photographers. Love downtown Seattle. Best, Lynn
Nice cityscape picture!
That is quite sunny, looks like it’s late afternoon?
lol@ the deodorant and the jukebox. But the sun is nice, makes the buildings look like toys.
This sunny photo put a smile on my face. It looks like a fabulous city — and not nearly as rainy as people make it out to be.
Wonderful perspective and LOTS of windows for sure!
Hugs and blessings,s
Beautiful light and perspective on these buildings! The windows glisten…lovely capture!
what a stunning shot! 🙂 awesome!
u may view mine here
fantastic composition.
Yes, this was taken in the late afternoon light. Now that the days are getting so short, that was about 3:45pm. And it doesn’t actually rain that much in Seattle, contrary to myth. It rains about 36 inches a year, the same amount as New York City. BUT it’s a lot grayer and drizzlier, so it seems like it rains a lot. We sure are grateful for sunshine!
Thanks for all your lovely comments. Much appreciated.
