Flower Show bouquet
This urn at the NW Flower & Garden show was almost as tall as I am, and the forsythia stems must have reached almost ten feet. Now that was one impressive bouquet! They keep the lights quite low to keep the plants lasting well, I am told, and the dim lighting was a bit of a photo challenge, but still so pretty.
For more interesting visions of red, visit Ruby Tuesday. And check out Color Carnival for more photos like this. And see SOOC for more straight-out-of-the-camera shots.

Oh, that is a pretty urn! Great photo, in spite of the lack of light.
Thanks for your mail yesterday. I don’t know what happened with my comment section, it must have been some temporary failure because as far as I know it does work. Please try again.
Today I’ve posted some photos I took in Tangier while Ilived in Morocco.
Have a great Tuesday!
Very nice shot. love those two color together.
My Ruby Link for you
Is it not winter?
Yet bright forsythia blooms
in Chinese red vase.
Valentine!
Love the vase. Ah, forsythia, when will you bloom in my backyard? Sometime after the upcoming snowstorm, is the response that I get. Nice combination of geometric lines with natural flora.
That’s a beautiful bouquet. I love the urn, it would be very costly in my country. ๐
Golden yellow against the red…very nice contrast.

The yellow golden bells against the red is a great color combination…looks like a great place to be for photos! Thanks for sharing
Oh…that’s stunning!
What a gorgeous shot.
Lovely find. I like the somber tones of the red and the background. Contrasts nicely with the forsythia.
That is a tall arrangement. Several years ago we bought some glass vases that were about 4 feet tall for work. They are perfect for forcing Forsythia and Cherry branches. It is like having your own flower show.
Very pretty Sara! I see you are treating us with doubles again this week ๐
How dramatic and beautiful. Thanks.

Sara, this is a very pretty shot! The RED and the yellow of the forsythia is wonderful! Thanks for playinng Ruby Tuesday! ๐
