Rain on rose leaves
The rain never ceases to fascinate me in the garden. I love the almost spherical drops, just poised like that. I once saw a hummingbird take a bath in droplets like this on rose leaves, but of course had no camera with me. Every time I see perfect droplets like this on rose leaves I do think of that tiny bird, in the world’s smallest bathtub.

I like this post very much and have categorized it as Best Post of the Week.

Lovely.
Nature is wonderful the way it makes the most of every opportuity. The etching on the edges of rose leaves is just lovely.
Beautiful photography of the raindrops on the rose leaves. To bad you didn’t get that photo of the Hummingbird bathing — but at least you got to see it and now it is part of you forever in your memory. Maybe next time you will be lucky now that you are aware they bathe in tiny droplets.
we have so much rain this year in the PNW
Have a happy outdoor Wednesday.

It sure is beautiful after the rain 🙂
These water droplets are like pretty, deliacate jewels waiting to be threaded into a necklace!

Lovely pic! Simple and so lovely. Good eye!
An exquisite photo.
Beautiful…gives off a very cool feeling~
What a great shot. You’re like me. I’m absolutely fascinated by water in a garden.
Most of the time I have to use a sprinkler to get that effect. Not too much real rain here in the desert.
Great detail of the water droplets on the rose leaves. They look like glass.
I’m starting to miss the gentle Pacific Northwest rains!! Beautiful pictures lately.
Just stopping by to let you know I’m going to extend the time for submissions at Color Carnival so it won’t be such a long stretch 🙂
