Fish for Watery Wednesday
These koi were at the Portland Japanese Garden. An truly spectacular place, and soon it will really be coming into its spring wonder. I totally recommend it. Just wait until the azaleas bloom.
But for water photos of all kinds, click HERE.

I love watching Koi. The place I usually see them at, if you walk over the edge they’ll come right up because they think they’re about to get fed.
It is so relaxing to look at these koi fishes. I would love to see the pond in spring. Let me know when you upload a photo.
Thank you for your kind words on my blog. I think you are right. It is day 3 and still no signs of putting down the clothes for laundry. Best wishes 🙂
They’re beautiful 🙂 My uncle has got a koi fish pond in his garden, I enjoy seeing them all crowd around when there’s food!
Nice! So few can get a nice shot of fish (cause you know, they don’t like to “strike a pose”)
😉
I like the way they are all different colours, and the reflections in the water!!
I also like the glads in the prvious post!! Do you plant the corms densely? Or do you leave them in the ground all winter?
Great shot of the fish…I too posted a shot from a local Japanese Garden. How funny is that! Enjoy WW and hi from California…
Cool picture. Love the fish!

What a great photo for WW. Great share 🙂
I plan to get some shots of the koi when I go back to Shaw’s Garden this spring – that is if it ever warms up enough to do so! The cold weather around here keeps hanging on for some reason. Very cool shot you’ve taken here!!!
