Tulip leaves with rain
Yet another study of rain on leaves. This from a couple of days ago. Tulip leaves bead the water so beautifully. Don’t water tulips where they are planted in the summer, however, or they won’t come back.
Visit Watery Wednesday, Outdoor Wednesday, Wordless Wednesday, Macro Friday, and for that little reflection of more tulip leaves in the water drop, Weekend Reflections. Click on Sara’s Fave Photos, here or above, to see the whole blog.

I have to use a hose to get my tulips to look like that, but at least I have tulips.
Lovely water drops.
Lovely shot.
Beautiful photo… I love the water droplets sparkling like jewels on the leaves…
yes, spring is all about rain this year, but I hate when a heavy one knocks all the tulip flowers off..so sad.
beautiful…something so simple, basic and full of life!
My tulips haven’t leafed out yet. Love the raindrops — nice job.
really gorgeous shot. i miss tulips. (i’m from Michigan and we had plenty of tulips there but i have since moved to Thailand). I DO have some lovely orchids though 😉
Beautiful photo, closeup.
That is a lovely photo.

Fabulous macro shot of the water drops on the tulip leaves. A perfect capture. Love it.
