Plate of hard cooked eggs
It’s great when all the eggs peel well, isn’t it? Don’t you hate those infuriating ones that refuse to peel properly, even though they were cooked and handled the exact same way as their carton-mates? Hope you enjoy this study in white. And yes, the devilled eggs that came later were extremely good.

Cool idea to photograph eggs. Actually came our really good!
You definitely came up with a very unique shadow shot today. Never would I have thought of using eggs such as these. Great job.

What a great idea for a shadow shot – I love how this looks!
That is a great shot!
OK…..What is your secret to getting the shells off without tearing up the white. There must be a foolproof way out there somewhere. Yours really do look good, and they made a great still life shot. genie

The well-known hard-boiled egg scrubs up rather artistically for shadow shoot! Creative light and shadow and voila! A stunning work of art!

BOOKISH SHADOWS
Darksome shadows in my path,
You are not the Grapes of Wrath;
And yet when I hear your hums,
Something Wicked This Way Comes!
May your darkness turn to light
Like The House of Mirth, all right?
May all sadness drift away—

I love the shine and the lack of any other color. It’s nice to get ideas for photographing things when it’s too cold to go out of doors
What a great photo. It looks like one for a tv commercial. The eggs are shiny and very appetizing.
So many lovely textures of white…
who knew that eggs could be so interesting!
