Cap Sante marina boats
While we were camping at Deception Pass, our friends with a boat invited us to it for a drink. They keep the pretty cabin cruiser docked at the Cap Sante marina in Anacortes, WA, only a few minutes away from where we were. The magic of cellphones! Walking out to their slip, I was just blown away by the beauty of the sun, the water, and the scene. This one, too, is just straight out of the camera. Love those sunny days.
Take a look at Scenic Sunday, Color Carnival, Shadow Shot Sunday 2, Outdoor Wednesday, Skywatch Friday, A Piece of Heaven, Weekend Reflections, and SOOC Sunday (straight out of the camera) for other neat photos. Thanks so much for stopping by here, and please do leave a comment if you have something you’d like to say.

A photo to love, Sara. I’ve always loved sailing, and I often draw pictures of sailboats on the water. This one gave me a big smile.
I know that marina well! Isn’t it amazing how many huge boats are docked there. It’s a great place for skywatching (and boatwatching)!
What a pretty place to visit! Great photo also…
Beautiful photograph – I love visiting marinas – thanks for sharing
I know that marina well, too, as I live in Seattle and visit there whenever I get the chance! Great capture and reflections for the day! Enjoy your weekend!
Cool shot I like the reflection as well.

so beautiful, wonderful reflections!
ha la mer,magnifique !
In less than a month we will be on Bainbridge Island for a week with my son and his family. It has been 2 years since we were there. I cannot wait. Your part of the world is so beautiful. Right now my husband is hiking the mountains of Maine and then he is gong to hike a bit on the Pacific Crest Trail with my son. Your picture reminds me of all the little boats that are docked there in Seattle.Their reflections in the water are so pretty. genie
I enjoy going to both Deception Pass and camping there, and visiting Anacortes. Did you know that there is a park that overlooks Cap Sante? What a view from up there! You’ll have to check it out the next time you visit Anacortes. Great photo, too. 🙂
Lovely!
Great shot! I like the way the masts seem to get shorter from right to left.
I was busy looking for the boat that Boom and I want. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
This looks as close to perfection for a weekend getaway as any I could possibly imagine!
