Saw these at the farmer’s market. Aren’t they gorgeous? Makes me want to just grab one and chomp on it.

Those look perfectly delicious. We just harvested the first few carrots from our garden this year. Admittedly, they just don’t look like they came from the market but tasty, none the less:-)

Very nice! I especially like the color, composition and bokeh [you managed to get the lower and topmost carrots out of focus, but nailed the central one. For me, the diagonal alignment gives the image some life, rather than being a dull still life. Well done!

Can’t beat a good carrot with the green tops still on, great photograph for OYGIF.
Although have you ever come across a barrot? Beetroot and a carrot crossed, incase you think I’ve gone absolutely bananas & perhaps I’ve got way too many fruit and veg in this reply??!!!

Those are beautiful. The ones in India are slightly different, shorter in length and a little sweeter. They make a wonderful dessert here from them…called gajar halwa. It is so good and recipes are on line.
My Mandarin Orange Monday is of Indian women in colorful saris.
Lovely fresh carrots, I can almost taste them. Homegrown ones are so sweet.
