Plum blossoms in black and white
I don’t usually have difficulty choosing one image to post, but sometimes I just can’t decide. The one with the sun showing, or not?

Both nice shots but I like the sparkle of the first one. It makes it different. 🙂
I can’t believe how many blossoms there are so early up here in Coastal British Columbia. I keep worrying about a late freeze. Hope not, but I do hope we get a lot more rain. Our lakes will be so low in the summer if we don’t, and fires will be a huge danger. – Margy
Really really nice shots!!! Spring is my favorit season.
Very cool picture.
A wonderful capture and great photos.
Lovely post for SWF, great to use b&w!

Hands down, I’d go with the star-bursting sun image…tough lighting conditions that you made work top your advantage. Great piece of work!!!
Beautiful!
Both are really beautiful, with exquisite light shining through the petals. I think I like the one with the sunburst just a bit more, but I can see how you found it hard to decide.
Very interesting b&w.
Beautiful post.
Both are very beautiful.
Gorgeous filtering of light through the blossoms. The shadow shapes highlighted on the blossoms are particularly lovely in the second one.
Wow, Sara, great black and white photography here and fabulous use of the sun.
Stunning first photo!
Thanks for taking part in Floral Friday Fotos, I appreciate your contributions!
