Roof plants in San Miguel
Many of the roofs in San Miguel de Allende in Mexico have plants in pots at the roof’s edge over the street. I do wonder about earthquakes, if not high winds.

I grow a lot of plant in pots. It’s amazing how a fairly strong wind can knock them over and roll them off the deck. I live on a float cabin and I’ve lost several trees in pots over the side. – Margy

You are right about the winds, but maybe there are no very strong winds there.
