Sunlit autumn leaves

Heart-shaped leaves express how I feel about this season. The light coming through the leaves really makes me happy.

Clouds reflected

Browsing through the archives, found this image from a golf course visit with hubby at this time of year, a few years ago. He played; I photographed.

Autumn leaves, primary colors

The Renton Fall Harvest Festival yesterday was perfect weather and I enjoyed every moment of it. Glorious!

Dramatic sky

This image of a dramatic sky over Puget Sound was taken in Des Moines, WA (south of Seattle), right near a friend’s house. She can walk across the street and see this!

Ferry boat at dusk

This ferry-in-the-sunset photo is very similar to one I posted about three years ago, but I think it deserves a re-run. I had just gotten my new camera and hadn’t mastered all the settings (not that I’ve done so by now) and it needed a tad of adjustment, but hardly any. Those are the Olympic Mountains in the distance.

Bowman Bay at dusk

Bowman Bay at Deception Pass in Washington is an incredibly scenic place where you can camp right near the water. We were there last year at this time, and this photo is a companion to the one I posted from that trip here. I love this post and am calling it my Best Post of the Week.

Lifeguard station

The first evening we got to Seaside, Oregon, the weather was windy and the beach was pretty empty. But the light over the water! I truly love this post and am calling it my Best Post of the Week.

Surfers at Sunset Cove

The best part of our little getaway to Seaside, Oregon was watching the surfers right from our cottage on Sunset Cove. It was amazing. I realized that surfing is much, much harder than I thought, for one thing. Here’s a little video of this oh-so-scenic cove.
