Yellow curb

This is one of those images I don’t really have a title for, and don’t really know why I love it, but I keep wanting to look at it, so there might be something there for you, too.

Magnolia blossom

Magnolias seem to be beautiful in all stages. This one has lost one petal.

Two pink trees

There was a sunbreak. The tree on the left is a Japanese magnolia showing how the hard rain we had knocked a lot of the petals off, and on the right is pink dogwood, getting ready to bloom. In front are three hydrangeas, just sticks still, and a red azalea just starting.

Tulip and bluebells

Tulips naturalize if conditions are just right. They don’t like any water in the summers. But bluebells bloom anywhere, and just at the same time. Good combo, yes?

Pansies in the rain

Rain is back, but at least it’s light out later.

Striped tulips

These red and white parrot tulips are some of my top faves.

Summer garden

It seems like the cold and rainy weather in Seattle will go on forever. But it won’t.
