Bowman Bay at Deception Pass in Washington is an incredibly scenic place where you can camp right near the water. We were there last year at this time, and this photo is a companion to the one I posted from that trip here. I love this post and am calling it my Best Post of the Week.

The first evening we got to Seaside, Oregon, the weather was windy and the beach was pretty empty. But the light over the water! I truly love this post and am calling it my Best Post of the Week.

The best part of our little getaway to Seaside, Oregon was watching the surfers right from our cottage on Sunset Cove. It was amazing. I realized that surfing is much, much harder than I thought, for one thing. Here’s a little video of this oh-so-scenic cove.

Got to visit Seattle’s waterfront briefly today, and thank goodness the clouds pulled back enough for a spot of scenic. Those are the Olympic Mountains way in the distance.
