I’ve been sick with that awful bug that’s going around, so here’s a shot from last year’s Skagit Valley Tulip Festival, north of Seattle, WA. This year the warm weather is bringing earlier blooming up there in Skagit County.

Hard to know what to call this image, but I love it! Taken from the car while my friend was driving, stopped at one of the LONG traffic lights, this symphony in primary colors really makes me happy.

Here is another post about something you just don’t see every day. This giant sedum heart, at least ten or fifteen feet tall (I heard it weighed several tons!), was a big hit in the lobby area of the Northwest Flower & Garden Show. At the fabulous Flamingo Gardens in Florida there were many peacocks. I have never seen one doing its display before.
