Watch face jewelry

I grew up around a lot of old watches, so I was entranced to see this jewelry in Island Books in Mercer Island, WA. The sign of the maker is underneath the bracelets. Snap one up before they are gone!

Apple blossoms on the tree

Another photo from my April birthday this year, the columnar apple tree in my backyard. These blossoms are now applesauce in my freezer!

Pink dogwood tree

Back to the archives, from April. My birthday, in fact. I love the big pink dogwood tree in my backyard, next to the magnolia tree not quite blooming yet.

Fancy goldfish

Our fancy goldfish are getting bigger. Here they are swimming in a beam of sunlight. Don’t you love those googly eyes?

Yellow alstroemeria

From the archives. These yellow alstroemeria flowers, or Peruvian lilies, are wonderful even if they have no scent, and very long lasting in a bouquet. Very easy to grow, too.
