The other day it was sunny and the local Starbucks’ outdoor furniture looked like music to me, somehow.

I was at a funeral for a neighbor’s father. It was a lovely ceremony and very moving. The church had a beautiful niche on the side for the Virgin Mary. I lit a candle.

I grew up around a lot of old watches, so I was entranced to see this jewelry in Island Books in Mercer Island, WA. The sign of the maker is underneath the bracelets. Snap one up before they are gone!

I let some leeks in my garden flower. Why some are white and some are purple, I do not know, as all the leeks seem to be the same earlier, at harvest time. Don’t you love the round balls? Bees sure do.
