From a trip to the Cloisters in New York City, exactly two years ago; such a peaceful place.

Looking through the archives for some sunshine, found this one of magnolia branches against the sky, taken one April day. You’re welcome.

Recent wildfires have made our Seattle sky so smoky. The moon is almost full, and so red (even redder than this photo), high in the sky.

Our very young peach tree gave us eight peaches! When’s the last time you saw peaches with fuzz on them? Commercial growers breed that out of them for market purposes, but the store ones sure don’t smell and taste like these.

The town of Sequim (pronounced skwim!), WA has a lavender festival every year. They also have some wonderful street art.

Magnolias seem to be beautiful in all stages. This one has lost one petal.

Got to go to Gold Bar, a tiny town in Washington, at a little place on the Skykomish River (the “Sky), on a drippy day.

Seattle’s weather has been colder and wetter than normal. Here is a plum tree in my back yard, trying so hard to bloom, taken on a rare break in the rain.

We have a huge cedar tree in out backyard. Here it is in the heavy, wet snow that fell, before it all started to melt. Bonus image below: our front yard. You can see that there is even snow accumulated on the power lines, but it was already starting to fall off.
