Watery Wednesday, my first
Who can resist the lure of the coast? I read that 75% of the world’s population lives within 50 miles of an ocean coast. An amazing statistic, if true. I love to live near water, and here in Seattle that’s so easy. The two scenes of Puget Sound below were taken recently from the Normandy Park cove beach. These are lovely and soothing to look at.
I like the waves of water in the foreground of the first; but I love the expanse of sky in the second. I can’t choose – both are lovely.
Love the rippling effects in the water in the first photo. But I think my favourite is the 2nd photo with the extra textures of the clouds! Yet both photos are very beautiful!
I believe that statistic. Just look at a map and see where most of the world’s cities are. 😉 I live inland so I LOVE to see photos of the the ocean.
I like the top one best, but both are beautiful! I like the placement of the horizon on that first one and the textured look of the flow of water.
They are both good, my favorite is the first one. Soft ripples in the water and beautiful colors in the sky!
I love the water. Nice watery photos. I love the ocean. I used to live 5 miles from it. The only thing is that everything rusts near the ocean.
