Flowers for Today: Fuchsia
I’ve learned that fuchsias (the late, long-time San Francisco columnist Herb Caen called them the world’s most carefully spelled flower!) require a steady diet of fertilizer to bloom well. So I finally was generous with the plant food, and look what happened! For more beautiful flowers from around the world, click HERE.
What an elegant fuschia! Love the two contrasting shades of pink. The blooms look like little lampshades.
I have killed two of these. Thanks for the info on the plant food.
What a lovely flower! I love the color, very beautiful…
Oh wow! That is just beautiful! Love these kind of flowers:)
Mine is up too, HERE. If you get a chance;) Happy TF!~
WOW! Your careful maintenance really paid off. Lovely Fuschia!
Lovely and it’s good the plant food has not been wasted 🙂 Happy week ahead 🙂
WOW! what really beautiful flowers! so nice and delicate looking!
Oh wow. Wonferful nice flowers
Your Fuchsia cetrainly is very beautiful after it’s good feed. Your spelling however is
rather questionable, the s comes after the ch!
I just lost all my beautiful Fuchsias in hanging baskets to a dessicating desert wind this spring. Thought I had saved one, but another hot day last week got that one too.
What a beauty – like a ballerina!
love, love, love fushias! This screams summer.
Oh your fuchsia’s are so gorgeous. They look so full and healthy! Well done!!
Beautiful shot and nice to know about the fertilizer. That would account for a lot of things in my experience growing them!
Thanks for sharing!
Great shot! I like fuschias. I don’t think I’ve ever seen them without the purple in them so that makes these special to me. Cool!
