Flowers for Today: Fuchsia
I’ve learned that fuchsias (the late, long-time San Francisco columnist Herb Caen called them the world’s most carefully spelled flower!) require a steady diet of fertilizer to bloom well. So I finally was generous with the plant food, and look what happened! For more beautiful flowers from around the world, click HERE.

What an elegant fuschia! Love the two contrasting shades of pink. The blooms look like little lampshades.

Your Fuchsia cetrainly is very beautiful after it’s good feed. Your spelling however is
rather questionable, the s comes after the ch!
I just lost all my beautiful Fuchsias in hanging baskets to a dessicating desert wind this spring. Thought I had saved one, but another hot day last week got that one too.

Beautiful shot and nice to know about the fertilizer. That would account for a lot of things in my experience growing them!
Thanks for sharing!

Great shot! I like fuschias. I don’t think I’ve ever seen them without the purple in them so that makes these special to me. Cool!
