Snow shadows, sort of
Today’s weather was in the high 40s at least, so I was able to be out in the garden pulling weeds, which I actually enjoy doing. I thought I’d show a snow photo from December as a bit of contrast. Snow could happen again, of course, but we wouldn’t have the pretty Christmas lights if it did. And I know they’re not really shadows, but so pretty anyway I thought I might get away with it as a shadow post.

I can see really soft shadows..such a pretty photo..hope you get some more snow soon!
Oh I see shadows there! That is such a cool effect! Really beautiful.
Whoa Sarah! This is amazingly beautiful! It looks very surreal, but not scary kind of surreal as found in most surrealist art. Or maybe it’s just me that views a lot of surrealism as a bit scary 😉 This is so pretty & yummy! It reminds me of fairy floss (I think it may go by another name over there…candy floss maybe? Or whatever you call that sugary fluffy stuff). Yes, it perfectly fits within the shadowy category as far as I’m concerned 😀
Looks almost like candy! I’m sooo jealous that you’v been out in your garden!
I think this is beautiful. Thanks for sharing with us!

Beautiful colored shadows! Who says that shadows have to be the absence of color!
I think the lights are so pretty..and it does give a different kind of shadow..Beautiful.
Happy SSS..

Happy SSS.

So perfectly artistic shot!
Job well done!
Very pretty. Remindes me of a crazy dessert one of my Great Aunts makes!
Thanks to all who visited. As for candy, the name you’re looking for is cotton candy, but as for me, I think it looks more like whipped cream!
Gorgeous, Sarah! Another amazing shadow shot!
Beautiful picture, the lights beneath the snow are really pretty.
What an amazing sight, it looks like a cake with special lighting. Happy SSS!
