Watery and Wordless Wednesday Big Creek
This was taken at a campground near Mt. Ranier in Washington state. There were floods later on which roared through this area and it may not be possible to camp here any more.
I’m trying something new. I took a video, my very first, of the creek because it sounded so wonderful and with these newfangled digital cameras, you can. I’m uploading a low-resolution version here so you can hear how wonderful it was. Click on the link below the still photo. Let me know if this is worth it.

What a nice shot. I love the colors of the reflections in the water, I take it that’s sky and trees. Did I miss the link to the video? I didn’t see the clip. I was looking forward to hearing that sound.

I’ve always been fond of wet stones by water. They make some beautiful photo images.

I don’t know yet how to embed the video on the page, but if you click on the link below the still photo, it will bring you to the little video. I’m learning, still, of course.

I was able to see it. You wouldn’t think from the picture alone that the water would be so loud, but it sure was. Nice touch with the video, you are one step ahead of me! I know my camera can do it but I’ve never used it yet.

Looks pretty tame, but that’s not surprising … mountains are flash flood country.

Lovely watery shot! I love creek beds and stones and wading. I bet this creek is very cold if it’s near Mt. Rainier!
